Review of Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) by Isaac A — 06 Feb 2017
The third (and doubtably final) film in Dreamworks' Kung Fu Panda franchise is an enjoyable chapter in the journey of The Dragon Warrior, as it has Po reunite with his father and discover the secrets about his past.
Knowledge of the previous two films is highly recommended, as it would be for many second sequels. For an animated movie, it does have pretty amazing action scenes that are complimented by the beautiful animation.
It also has its fair share of humorous scenes and dialogue. All of these things are what people have come to expect out of Po's adventures, so it can feel a little tired by the third film. Also, the voice-actors that play the Furious Five seem to have little to do this time around (with the exception of Master Tigress), as this is a Po-centered story.
That being said, it's a sequel worthy enough of the films set before it, as it has great characters, action, humor, and lessons.
