Review of Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) by Dokyong T — 19 May 2016
- The 3rd installment of the "Kungfu Panda" franchise sure did deliver another amazing film. The overall plot of the movie was not as good as the last two but the execution blew them both out of the water.
With a newly drawn animation, the scene by scene play was truly epic. A crispness of high definition action flowed flawlessly throughout the entire cinematic production. And with the addition of 3-dimension it took the experience from an ordinary video viewing to a theatrical adventure with entertaining twist and turns at every corner.
The comedy was definitely successful. It was presented in such a steady manner that it did not drown out the main importance of the cause and effects in the story line. The substance of the conflict came through brilliantly and the curiosity of how the problems were going to be solved only gauged my interest more and more as time passed by.
A subtle feel of action was portrayed and it seriously kicked major butt. Although this was a cartoon that was taken to extraordinary new heights the intensity of the story maintained my undivided attention and showered me with a sense of realism as if it was a true story or based on realistic events.
This is a definite "Must See" for ALL ages, especially if you had the awesome privilege of catching the first two. It was better than I had originally expected. Every aspect from start to finish, from the conception to the inception satisfied all of my expectations and then some.
I really got lost in this film. My focus was solely intended for what was being presented on the BIG screen and I enjoyed every moment of it. The concept lured me in and the execution made me comfortable.
"3 Stars" for the kungfu characters. They sure did deliver an incredible finish product with such amazing growth, strength and dedication that only animated animals could portray in more ways than one.
Imagination is key to a happy life and after this particular film I truly left with every single last of my "smile bones" showing. YEAH!
