Review of Kung Fu Panda (2008) by Clayton R — 29 Apr 2012
I did feel distracted by the under-thought plot and rapid pacing. Even so, nobody could be a better voice for Po than Jack Black, who's also lovable and well-designed. The remaining cast and characters are also ingenious and surprising, actually relating to martial arts styles.
It's the action that wins me over though, as the animation creates swifter, sharper, elastic and feisty fights for awe.
