Usually, I keep well away from kung fu films, but having enjoyed virtually everything Dreamworks has to offer, I decided to give this a go. To my pleasant surprise, it was not boring at all. The kung-fu bits did not dominate, and it was good entertainment whether kung-fu is your thing or not.
I particularly loved it being set in China, what with the cherry blossom, the beautiful mountainous scenery, and oriental music.
