Review of Kung Fu Panda (2008) by Amanda C — 06 Jan 2014
I had extremely low expectations for this film, so it wasn't hard for it to surpass them. Jack Black does his thing this time as an overweight panda. Kung Fu Panda is at its best when it's throwing out gags, but loses its way in the story which is pretty standard and has been done better.
It's an amusing diversion, and an enjoyable 90 minutes, but not up to the standard of Pixar's films.
