Who would have thought that a crazy cartoon about a Panda would become one of my favorite films of the year? I was just so completely floored at the incessant storytelling skill and stupendous visuals that I can't help but applaud this remarkable achievement.
The fighting sequences are mind-blowing and hysterical. The characters are stunningly colorful and archetypal. You truly care about them. The pacing is furious, fast-paced and totally satisfying. It may not have the epic ambition of Wall E but the overall structure is far more consistent.
Dreamworks knocks another one out of the park. I love the Turtle's zen-like wisdom.
