Review of Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) by Sarah K. H — 25 Mar 2012
I guess I was expecting them to put Po in a situation where understanding that there is no secret ingridient would fail forcing him to find inner peace and deal with his discrepancies. but instead they use the inner peace phrase for dealing with being an orphan.
but why would that conflict with his Kung-Fu? He already knew he was a adopted an even admits it to his father in the movie! But I do like the idea of bringing in western weapons that are more powerful than kung-fu and I like the fact that the peacock had a british accent.
I just would have did it differently. I guess. the first movie is a lot more impactful. this is still entertaining. and it is actually more beautiful visually.
