Althought the story is similar to the original and the plot isn't as strong, this sequel is redeemed by arresting visuals, swift, entertaining action sequences, highly memorable and amusing characters, great voice work, strong visual gags and witty dialogue.
It also has an amicable stab at narrative depth, making this film, a pleasantly well rounded spectacle.
