Review of Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) by Paul J — 25 May 2012
The sequel amps up the action and explores our favorite Panda's character arc with more depth. Over all, it lacks the original's dramatic flow, but thematically it remains interesting due to the villain's exploitation of fireworks into fire arms.
A highly plausible historical accuracy. In fact, this represents something much larger. The entire Kung Fu & Samurai heritage was at stake once firearms came into being. The great, noble and honorable warrior was replaced by the simple soldier with a gun.
Kun Fu Panda 2 also has a heart-warming message in the end, bringing together parents and children. All in all, a terrific movie with jaw-dropping animation.
