Review of Kung Fu Hustle (2004) by Ian R — 01 Aug 2010
This movie was very solid; more than a little off-beat, but solid. I like how it incorporated in cartoon-ish aspects, but it still had incredible action sequences. The main characters were all a little strange, but they still had some pretty dramatic interaction.
It's just a weird mesh of comedy and seriousness. Overall, this is a very enjoyable martial arts film, fairly different from all others I've watched.
