This movie is so stupid and so brilliant at the same time that it's amazing. It's all wrong but so right, I find myself coming back for more, haha. A friend of mine tried to make sense of this movie and hated it. He missed the point... it funny because it's utterly slap-stick stupid!
Stuff like this doesn't happen by accident. You can't just throw random up in the air and hope it all falls down into something brilliant. Everything is deliberate and well considered (although cultural differences may throw a few unexpected reactions)... but the rating speaks for itself. If you can hack it, watch it in Cantonese with English subtitles. The correct intonation syncs far better with the humor.
My only regret is it has taken me this long to stumble across this movie. Well done... this one goes into my DVD colllection!
