Review of Kung Fu Dunk (2008) by Vincent Y — 12 May 2008
A pretty entertaining martial arts film. Mixing martial arts and sports, in vein of Shaolin Soccer. Sure it had a predictable storyline, but who cares, it had some really cool kung-fu, wire-fu and basketball with some really awesome special fx.
Yen-ping Chu does a great job directing it and doesn't deviate from any non sequitur scenes. Highly recommended if you just want to chill and watch an entertaining movie. If you are looking for something more deep and meaningful, then you are barking up the wrong tree.
