Review of Kundun (1997) by Oren S — 13 Apr 2006
Oh my god. Who'd have thought Scorsese would have made a filjm that had so much weight and compassion in it's story telling. This isn't a film I watch a lot because it is very powerful and indeed sad.
It's lyrical to the point of poetry and actually my favourite of all his films as it's so easy to become involved in the story. I think it is a flawless film. There are very few of those. If there was a six star function.
This and OldBoy would both get six stars.
