Review of Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter (2014) by Ken C — 09 Jun 2015
Beautifully shot about an urban legend surrounding the death of Takako Konishi as she had died trying to find the treasure depicted in the 1996 film Fargo. Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter wraps the main characters with eeriness and some darkly comic moments, but overall this film delivers a weak and bleak story, feel unmotivated.
