Review of Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) by Tanvir M — 12 Nov 2016
A story (both adventurous and poignant) to match spectacular visuals inspired by Japanese aesthetics, it's a beautiful film with memorable characters highlighting the importance of music, memories and stories in making our lives extra-ordinary.
Laika Studios have offered quality products in the past (Coraline, Paranorman and The Boxtrolls), but this might be their best one yet. Highly recommended for both kids and adults who appreciate beauty, magic and wonder in their films.
