Review of Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) by Nikos R — 21 Nov 2016
This delightful and gorgous stop-motion feature is just the refreshing ticket needed from a lot of mainstream animation. From the comical and well-drawn characters, to the imaginative action scenes and environments, there is much to admire throughout; there's even an affective emotional beat at the heart of the narrative.
The House of the Mouse may roar, but this production team is well on its way to soar.
