If you want something so bad it's good, this is for you. I do not unless I am watching MST3K, so I hated this film. I'll give it an extra half a star because I remember this film from when I was too young to realize that it was extraordinarily poorly done, and it was kind of cool then.

Now, however, it is the biggest waist of time not starring one of those kids from the Disney channel. Anyone who is into fantasy novels and movies (magic, aliens, swords, Cyclopes, etc) should get some level of enjoyment out of this as well.

Otherwise, just re-watch one of your old favorites. Oddly enough, this is the first movie for multiple Academy Award Nominee Liam Neeson, Kind of like Babe Ruth playing for a Special Olympics team before moving to the Yankees.
