Review of Krrish (2006) by Radhika A — 13 Apr 2008

This was simply a fun movie to watch. Predictable, yes, but I really enjoy the Bollywood over-the-top style more than Hollywood's absurd attempts to persuade an audience to suspend disbelief. Bollywood with its blatant "we-know-you-won't-believe-this, so-don't-even-try" style allows one to switch off the left brain for a 2-3 hours and enter a meditative/dream-like state.

After Krrish, I felt rested, relaxed, and ready to return to reality with a little less seriousness. These are beautiful people who dance as though they have the joint-articulation of cartoon characters.

I can't wait to see the sequel!
