Review of Kronk's New Groove (2005) by Mallory B — 29 May 2009
This was pretty freaking hysterical. Not as good as "The Emperor's New Groove", but still awesome nonetheless. Tracy Ullman was incredibly out of place as Kronk's love interest (upper-class British accent in Incan times? Um, good call...) and you could tell they re-used animation all over the place (dance scenes), but the humor was great - although it was a little heavy on the pop culture references. The whole film's feel and sense of humor can be summed up in the best line in the film by far:
Kronk: Don't cry for me...Marge and Tina.
Epic win. Although I'd probably rather see the original on repeat than see this again. Good times, though! :D.
