Review of Krazzy 4 (2008) by Himanshu G — 15 Apr 2008

Not that of a great movie. Yes it has its moments that make you crack up but look at the plot of the movie, it is just so pathetic. Is it too much to ask for a nice plot in a comedy movie in bollywood? is it too much to ask the makers to make a little bit of sense in comedy movies? they havent defied physics in this movie, I dont have problems with that. But, I have a problem when film makers think that their audience are bunch of idiots. Espeically the very ending when juhi chawla faints. With a hustle n bustle like that, even a dead man will wake up....and what happens after she wakes up?? she doesnt talk to people she knows who are in front of her, but starts running around on the street. it is not a mad mad world, just the filmmakers are mad. It shouldnt be krazzy 4 but 10, 15, 20, depending on the number of people who made this movie. Yes, this movie does have its moments, for example when Arshad Warsi meets his prospective father in law for the first time, or when irfaan khan and rajpal yadav are arguing where was the car standing or even when rajpal yadav sees mahatma gandhi. But, in the end its not just couple of humorous moments that stand out. You are more dissapointed about the story of the movie and how much better they could have made.

Acting is wonderful, all of them stand out well, Angry Arshad to Rajpal yadav. With these characters the movie could have been so much better and also the story. So only 1 and a half star. With charatcers like this they could have easily made a movie worth at least 3 stars.
