Amazing costumes and monster effects, but that's the only thing favorable in this film. The rest is a boring mess of a horror comedy that is somewhat scary but not funny in the least. I laughed harder at the theater's reactions (Someone got up at the end credits and said "Well that was terrible" as one confused soul clapped for some ungodly reason). The legend of Krampus is pretty much boiled down to an evil Santa, complete with elves and a sack full of killer toys, even the Krampus himself just looks like jolly old Saint Nick is in the middle of a yawn constantly, with his mouth gaping open through the entire last half of the movie.

I've never been this bored in a theater. It boggles my mind that this has a high a rating as it does. It's a goofy disappointment on all counts, from the story to the acting to the jokes to the script. It's truly not worth watching.
