This movie was nothing but an utterly horrible attempt at a promising concept. Creating the depiction of an old tale that provides a brand new perspective on the story of Christmas was a wonderful idea.

However, the lack of fear installed in the audience lost the dark vibe of Krampus and brings you to the realization that you are watching none other than a new installment of the 'Home Alone' series.

I would not recommend you see this film with any expectation of fear or originality. If you are ever curious about how this movie ends, just watch the final 15 minutes of 'The Polar Express.'.
