Review of Krampus (2015) by Anthony K — 09 Mar 2016
Krampus teeters on the edge of greatness, but never quite tips. It's a bit neutered by its PG-13 rating and the ending is a bit of a comedown from its thrill-filled second act. The action sequences are also difficult to follow in places.
Nevertheless, Krampus deftly blends comedy and horror, sending up holiday movies on the back of a mostly sharp script and a well-selected cast. 6.3/10.
