Review of Krampus (2015) by Alejandro C — 20 Mar 2016
I can't deny that I had a great time while watching Krampus. It offers a balanced mix of horror and comedy and the cozy, holiday setting is delightful. Scott and Koechner are standouts as a family tries to fend off the mythical creature.
The movie isn't all great though, as there are lots of similarities to Christmas Vacation and other holiday (and horror) flicks, making it somewhat unoriginal. Despite its shortcomings, I am looking forward to my second viewing when it releases on Blu-Ray.
