Review of Krampus (2015) by Blake B — 19 Jun 2016
Not really horror, more like suspense with comedic undertones. The problem is the comedy isn't funny. At one point they used a "boing" sound effect that sounded like it was ripped straight from Loony Tunes.
Often this movie will water down any horror elements seeming to want to be kid friendly somehow. It really misses it's mark, however I did enjoy the use of practical effects and the costumes. Everything else was barf-worthy.
