A cute harmless movie that does its job.
It was well acted and decently written. The subject was absurd and handled as such. It nicely straddles the line between humor and horror without being too humorous to destroy the other or being too self aware.
Okay, so I started writing this review while finishing the movie and was going to crap on its ending, before it actually ended, Very interesting and clever twist on an old cliche, though this ending has been done before too, just not as overused or as much of a cop out as the fake ending.
You, know what it elevated it to 4 instead of 3.5 stars for me. It's good, great classic for the families that like a little darkness in their christmas.
