This is officially one of the maddest Christmas films I have ever seen and I loved it. I was expecting a straight up horror movie but it's more on a level with something like Gremlins. There are a few scares in the movie but it's mostly played for laughs.
The creatures in the film reminded me of characters from Labyrinth in the way they looked and behaved and to be honest, the whole film is something you might have expected to have been produced in the 80's, it has a classic 80's Christmas movie feel about it and the 80's have always been where you will find the best Christmas movies so this is no bad thing.
An enjoyable seasonal horror comedy that won't be to everyone's taste but if you're a fan of Gremlins and Labyrinth then give it a go!
