Horror and comedy don't mix well as one often undercuts the other. Here's an example, however, where that fine balance was achieved... almost. Part Home for the Holidays; part Gremlins and part Labyrinth - with an un-festively ambiguous ending that could either be It's a Wonderful Life or Twilight Zone, it is a darkly humorous choice for a Christmas film if you are tired of the usual turkeys on offer.
