Review of Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) by Dustin G — 22 Jul 2008
Very touching movie about a mother who walks out on her husband and young son to 'find herself' and leaves Ted Kramer (Dustin Hoffman) to learn how to be the woman of the house and do all the things she used to do for them.
The performances are flawless, the direction is effective without being flashy and the script is heartfelt and honest. It swept every major award at the Oscars that year and deserved them all in my opinion.
