"Kramer vs Kramer" has a bit of a TV-movie quality to it - mostly visually. But the writing and acting is spectacular - it's easy to see why Dustin Hoffman won the Best Actor Oscar in 1979.
The direction is subtle, too - I loved the way the film ended. Having seen this film for the first time (and only once) about 15 years ago, the film has much more resonance for me now.
