Every parent that's thinking of divorce should definitely see this before making his mind.
This film shows us how difficult it is raising a child if the mother/father's missing, and underlines the effects it can have on the professional and social life afterwards.
Hoffman and Streep's performances are just outstanding, even the young kid got the job perfectly right.
A perfect drama with a brilliant script, and worthy of all the 1979 ocars it got, including best picture of course.
