Great performances from the whole cast (especially from Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep, both whom are brilliant and utterly beliveable as the horribly flawed individuals they play, and the child actor Justin Henry is just as good) intelligently written script and very good direction are among the highlights in this excellent film.
