Review of Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) by Brady S — 03 Jan 2011
A solidly done look at divorce and its effects upon a family, Kramer vs. Kramer benefits from some stellar acting, with special mention being given to Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep. Frankly, the film can play as overly sentimental, and the fact that this beat out Apocalypse Now for both Best Picture and Best Director is kind of sad.
However, this is still a solid film that deserves a viewing.
