Review of Kontroll (2003) by Manho N — 03 Sep 2007
Interesting black comedy/thriller from Hungary, where the underground network is a character in itself, and one never sees a moment of daylight in this film. The ticket inspectors and commuters provide some larger than life characters, and the film ends with redemption for the main character; however the use of a serial killer to hold the film together is a bit of an odd one especially when there is no resolution for this storyline element.
