Review of Kontroll (2003) by Kieran M — 21 Nov 2007
The line at my first PDX Intl Film Festival experience was like some sort of beret-laden circle jerk of profound film observations. Thank god this was the movie I braved these people for--anything less would have seen these Ginsberg jock-riders getting scalped by Chief Hates With An Axe.
This movie is accessible though insightful, visually attractive though gritty, endearing though existential. Now get me my beret, you neanderthal.
