Review of Kontroll (2003) by James C — 19 Oct 2010
I really enjoyed this film, It is slick, dark, gritty, and hilarious. The cinematography is top notch and the setting creates a feeling of claustrophobia that is hard to shake. It is brilliantly excuted and very entertaining.
A wild romp through the magical labrythe of the Budapest Subway system. All in all this movie is about rebelling against authority and society, but there is so much more here if we look deeper under the skin.
It is smart and hard not to enjoy.
