Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Drew N — 21 Apr 2017
Disappointment. That's my feelings on it. Even though all the scenes with Kong in them are awesome (as to be expected), they're also the only scenes worth a damn. Every character in this movie is barely a character at all.
That wouldn't matter tho if we didn't spend more than HALF of the film with them. The second act of this film is guaranteed to put you to sleep. The film isn't bad, but I'd hesitate to call it good either.
