Super-disappointed. Kong needed a fresh take but this isn't fresh enough. Everything felt rushed and just thrown in for not-so-good-measure (Didn't like the skull-crawlers at all) It's a fun movie I guess and not a total waste of time as it's visually appealing for the most part, it's just not a very good one.
