Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Dhamar M — 01 Aug 2017
I had reservations going in but strong performances from John C. Reilly, Samuel L Jackson really helped carry the movie. Even some of the redshirts in this one were pretty damn solid. Kong was CGI greatness like his current partner in the Legendary Monsterverse Godzilla.
Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson did pretty well as the human good guys. The quote Cole - Sometime's there's no enemy until you look for one. Low expectations helped raise my enjoyment of this one.
