Not the film I was expecting! Tom Hiddleston, Sam Jackson? This film with the special effects should have been a theatre slayer! Think it will be lucky to break even! Sam did as best he could with the script provided but looked uncomfortable at best delivering his lines. Not to mention he's wearing more clothes than an artic explorer in a supposedly " tropical " climate. As for Tom, the trees did a less wooden job than his acting, he truly looked embarrassed to be there, no expression or emotion even when confronted by 600 foot monkey! Beggars belief.
If you just want to loose yourself in special effects then this movie will suit you, I just expected to believe with the talent provided that this movie would blow me away. Am I too hard to please? Dunno.
