Review of Kon-Tiki (2012) by Philip S — 30 Dec 2016
A charming film, with some nice scenery and likeable characters. It isn't as exciting as a fictional adventure film might be, but the fact that it is based on a true story makes what DOES happen all the more interesting.
I'm interested to learn more about this story - a sign of a good docudrama. The cast, led by Pal Sverre Hagen, is strong and the performances understated, with much told with the eyes. An enjoyable film for a lazy afternoon.
