:WARNING CONTAINS SPOILERS:I walked out of this movie with many things going through my head. 1. Their was a Religous side to this which made me think. 2. Frking Aliens?!?! WTF! Alright I must say it had SPECTACULAR special effects squences on the disaster scenes.

..so thats a plus!! The story was great but way too predictable. Nicalos Cage was pretty good in this. Now...the negative side. Going into this I was thinking..."This will be an epic Sci-fi/Thriller!!" It kept that until we start to unveil the other side of this movie.

:SPOILERS: Religious side-so we get to the point where we find out Caleb (Nicolas Cages son in the movie) and a girl named Abby can hear the "WHISPER PEOPLE" they end up finding out the whisper people were protecting them all along and they were choosen to start over.

.on a new world. So i'm thinking obviously thie whisper people are angels..right when you think they are...BOOM their actually aliens..But!!!!...their good alien angel things. So the 2 kids go "willing" into the new world and we see others be taken to the new world too.

And Nic Cages character and everyone else left behind.....suffer through the last prediction...the End of the World!! I'm religous myself...i am a Christian and believe an the One True God,and Jesus.

..and the Bible does say the world will end an Fire (hince the end of the movie) but those who accept Jesus Christ as their one and only saviour and believe,and admit their wrong..they will be brought up into Heaven where a new heaven and EARTH will be made and everything will be perfect.

So I was disappointed this movie took a ridciolous twist..but i'm not saying I think what their telling us is crap. But overall good movie..not the greatest.
