Review of Knowing (2009) by Jarrett M — 30 Jul 2012
Knowing gives us fantastic disaster sequences, a decent performance from Nic Cage and a very intriguing story that will keep you interested for the majority of the running time. My biggest problem with the film was the ending.
It is simultaniously meandering, fitting with the tone of the film, disappointing, and leaves you feeling like you've been punched in the gut. Not a film that will polarize audiences and possibly won't even be remembered in a few years, but you could do worse as far as apocalypyic sci fi films go.
You could certainly do better, as well.
