I read the reviews but watched it nonetheless. I thought it was good entertainment. I got kids the age of those in the movie, I was moved.
I love Nicolas Cage and I love sci-fi. This is nothing like those disaster movies.
The reminders of Close encounter are there. But there was none of the religious stuff so many complained about.
I like it very much.
