Review of Knowing (2009) by Cameron Liam I — 04 Feb 2013
I went into this one expecting a generic apocalypse thriller, and for the most part that's what I got, but the twist at the end is great and makes this film really interesting. The only downside is the overly-religious tone it takes at the end, which I felt wasn't needed because Cage's character already has his redemption in the knowledge that his son will be safe and he's made peace with his father.
He didn't need to abandon his scepticism to imply the existence of an afterlife. Other than that it's a fairly decent film.
