Apparently Aliens are smart enough to cause disasters and render those 'chosen' insane. But not smart enough to stop the sun exploding or at least carry humanity back to this Garden of Eden planet we see at the end.
Was there any other plotline outside of numerals being used as a means of communication..we all know the universal law of language is mathematics, but damn those are some stupid Aliens.
