Review of Knowing (2009) by Tchaik . — 19 Jan 2014
I thought this was an extremely interesting and well thought-out film. Not sure how some people thought this was a convoluted plot or that the effects were sub - standard. One of the very few 'blockbuster' films in the last few years which held my interest.
Yes, it did seem quite pessimistic at times and a bit gloomy, but how refreshing of an American film to be this way rather than a 'crowd-pleaser'. The plot was extremely similar though to the book 'Library of the Dead' which was unfortunately not credited as far as I could see.
