Review of Knocked Up (2007) by Matt T — 10 May 2013
The world of a fun loving and obnoxious party animal is shaken after a woman with whom he had a one night stand tells him that she is pregnant. Much like he did in the 40 Year Old Virgin, and arguably even better, Judd Apatow takes a silly comedy and exploits it by squeezing a genuine sweetness and charm out of it.
As funny as it is tender, though sometimes its softness seems a little too implausible.
