Review of Knockaround Guys (2001) by Jared K — 03 May 2008
"Knockaround Guys" is a story of organized crime gone haywire. Barry Pepper plays the son of a crime lord who has a lot riding on a bag containing half of a million dollars. When Matty "Pepper" pleads to complete the dropoff job and fails, he and a group of his friends find themselves neck high in boiling water.
This movie teaches a lot of lessons about what's right and wrong, lessons about self sacrifice and lessons about greed. While this movie could have received four stars from me, it's relentless foul language and dicey violence earns it a three.
