Review of Knock Knock (2015) by Hayden H — 03 May 2016
A film that could have dive into better writing and planning, but instead Eli Roth (Cabin Fever & the cannibal fail The Green Inferno) goes back to his old bag of tricks and doesn't remember other people have to watch the movie too. Waste on talent and waste of a potential good story that could have been a bit more like the mind games it should have been.
This about how helping out two strangers or giving into temptation can cost everything. This movie just does what we have already seen and then forgets what it's trying to say by just disturbing us instead of remembering there was a point to it. I agree the acting isn't great and at the end it felt like a sick joke that wasn't close to being worth a chuckle.
